“Choo Choo” by Kate Sutton for Hello!Lucky Stationery in San Francisco, CA.
I love the whimsy in this with the Eiffel tower, the hearts, the wine, the lovebirds, the mice, Cupid… these trappings of romance, they’re all thrown into the train with lovers. Those “romantic” little swan boats, they sink. Trains and the massive engineering involved with them— perfect for the long haul, non?

“I’m Sweet on You!” by Esther Aarts for Hello!Lucky Stationery in San Francisco, CA.
I’m in love with the bold use of color in this card. Could this be the official Valentine for Team Cake?

I love this playful, surreal Valentine. Seriously— is that a Beatle?!

“You’re my best mate!” by Esther Aarts for Hello! Lucky Stationery in San Francisco, CA.
I’m in love with the thoughtful subtlety in this design. There is little “in your face” usage of pink, flowers and hearts here, just two smiling male figures dressed as pirates, making a toast and perhaps sailing off into the horizon of their whimsical little letterpressed world.
